$21.86 MILLION 26,000 SF new highway maintenance facility, to be used for the new three-mile Tappan Zee River crossing, consisting of automotive repair bays, lifts and cranes, trade shops, locker and shower rooms, administrative offices, parking facilities, utility distribution and underground stormwater management structures. This new facility provides a permanent home for the highway workers, mechanics, technicians, administrators, security officers and superintendents who maintain the New NY Bridge and surrounding Thruway Authority infrastructure. $1.7 MILLION Complete interior construction of a 12,000 SF biotechnology laboratory. The project required demolition down to the concrete slab and out to the four walls, installation of high capacity mechanical and electrical systems for the laboratory use, then finishing with new walls, new floors and ceilings, and custom cabinetry. $13 MILLION Train Maintenance & Car Wash Building. New 40,000 SF building that contains specialized maintenance equipment with tracks, train hoists, turntables and automatic car washing equipment. This building is the major maintenance depot for Metro-North. Andron was the general trades contractor, under a Wicks Law procurement model, and also had contractual responsibility to schedule, coordinate and direct the work of the hvac, plumbing and electrical trades.
